It is a manufacturing process for producing high-precision, complex metal parts. It combines metal powder, injection molding, and sintering technologies, allowing for tight tolerances and excellent surface finishes. Using different powder sizes and binder components tailors the part's chemical and physical properties. MIM is ideal for high-volume production of small, complex components, with minimal material waste, making MIM very cost-effective.
